Calling Obama “Hussein” was a hate crime until Obama started doing it himself. Funny how that works. “All of a sudden, now it’s acceptable,” says Sean Hannity. For Foxman, Jewish monopolizing is mere happenstance; it doesn’t equate to actual control. Keep this willful ignorance in mind whenever you hear popular certitude on ideologies that originated with Jews, such as racial equality.

Speaking of Communists, consider the similarity between Hitler’s Socialist reforms to guard against Communism and what Capitalism has become, namely Socialism. The “unalterable” 25 point program of the Nazi Party in 1920 proposed:

- “that all unearned income, and all income that does not arise from work, be abolished” (think of speculation in securities and Bernard Madoff)

- “the nationalization of all trusts” and “profit-sharing in large industries” (think of government bailouts of “essential” industries, not to mention Burnham’s managerial revolution)

- “an agrarian reform in accordance with our national requirements” (think of agribusiness, ethanol, petroleum)

- “the enactment of a law to expropriate the owners without compensation of any land needed for the common purpose” (think of eminent domain)

- “the immediate communalization of large stores which will be rented cheaply to small tradespeople” (think of Wal-Mart)

So there you have it. Sixty million people died 60 years ago, and they thought they were fighting for “freedom.”

And that’s not all, says Goatee Rick! He is “calling on evangelical leaders to devote more attention to eradicating poverty, fighting AIDS in Africa, expanding educational opportunity for the marginalized, and global warming.” I don’t know why he wants to interfere with Afro-marital relations, but there’s no denying that we don’t spend nearly enough on education. There’s not a whole lot you can teach with $10,000 per student per year. It needs to be up around 50 grand to get the youngsters away from their video games and make them literate. They can always play video games in Sunday school. Another thing caught my eye: “You don’t have to see eye to eye to walk hand in hand,” said Warren. We’ve tried this excuse with our pastors, and it doesn’t apply to “racists.”

Adoption is central to the Gospel. Because you’re outside and then you’re in. You’re adopted in. And so, while three of my daughters were born into other families, they’re in their real one right now. This is their real family. And when you come to Christ, those fellow believers around you are your real family. Now you may have some people in the real family that are biologically related to you, and that is an added blessing. But when it’s all said and done, what Paul is saying here is that the family of God is your real family.

So it’s not that the church is a family of families, it is a family – it’s your real family. I mean, Jesus said – just think about this. Jesus said almost just the opposite. Don’t expect everybody to come, you know, with a mother, father, sister, brother lined up. He said, “If you’re not willing to forsake mother, father, sister, brother, you’re not worthy of Me”…

We went to Taiwan, we had three kids already. We went to Taiwan and brought two home, dropped them in and told everybody, “Love them. Deal with it. They look different than you and don’t even talk your same language. Love them”… I mean, that’s exactly what’s happening every time somebody comes to Christ, God’s bringing some into the local church whenever somebody comes to Christ, and He’s saying. “You’ve got to love them. So if we believe that the church should be understood in this way, then I think we should structure the ministries in our church to cultivate this, to encourage this, to promote it. What we’re talking about here is such a – it’s not a radical shift. It is a trajectory shift which means that we’re saying that we’re going to re-tool this thing. We need to make it a shift, but it’s not radical, but it’s enough that it puts you in a different trajectory. You are going to end up somewhere other than where you were going to end up before. I mean, it’s family focus, it’s an intergenerational approach, that treats all believers as part of the family. This is where I think so many people are missing it.

You got that? It’s not radical! It’s just a focus on the frankenfamily, and it’s a perfect example of fighting familism (see the sidebar).

As churches continue their plummet into apostasy, they are no longer as White. Here are some comments from Anthony Bashir of the Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1958. This shows the old-fashioned Christian understanding that the church is one in Faith and Canon but locally diverse in terms of ethnos and liturgy. It is an example of what Rushdoony called the One and Many.

Unless a truly indigenous African Liturgy can be foreseen, a truly indigenous Indian and Chinese Liturgy, composed according to the one unique structure of the Liturgy (a structure imposed interiorly, having its source in dogmatic and mystical theology—in the true sense of those words—and not exteriorly by stifling the life of other Liturgies, as was the case historically speaking, where St. John Chrysostom’s Liturgy is concerned), the truly Orthodox vision of the world has not yet been seen. Uniformity, imposition, external authority are the death of Orthodoxy, for she is a precious box encrusted with a thousand different (but equally lovely) jewels, each of which reflects the light of truth in a manner particular and unique. It is not by the condescension of authority that a Western rite is celebrated. Those who live in the West and in the Western stream of tradition must, before God and the Angels and Saints, respect all that is good in her traditions…

Their French and German and English ancestors were Orthodox before the Popes took them out of the Church in the eleventh century, but they were Western Orthodox. Our scholars and theologians have examined this claim, and found it just and reasonable. For over 20 years various Orthodox hierarchs have been receiving Western Christians and permitting them to use rites congenial with the old Orthodox history and Western culture and way of life. This is not, of course, a new phenomenon in the religious world. The Roman Catholic Church claims to be the whole Catholic Church and long ago permitted Eastern Orthodox to accept the Papal authority while retaining their Eastern Orthodox rites. Our Melkite brethren are Syrian examples of this policy. We Orthodox teach that we are the one, holy, Catholic Church. We must not then force the whole world to become Eastern in order to enter the true Church and be saved! The faith must be one, and Orthodox, but its expression has always been suited to the races and nations which accepted Christ. Food is necessary to life, but it attracts different races when prepared differently. We know that Yorkshire Pudding and Sauerkraut and Spaghetti are just as nourishing as Kibbi, it’s just that we don’t enjoy them as much!

One must ask what on earth has happened to Protestants, especially of the postmillennial variety. Did they eat some bad sushi? Did they get trichinosis from their holiday ham? What has caused them to revolutionize historic Christianity?
