So Henry “Skip” Gates, one of academia’s uppity agitators, and the man Obama calls “America’s pre-eminent black scholar” pulled a Rodney King and made the news. It’s funny, because even when blacks are innocent, they still do stupid things to get themselves arrested, and then they complain about blacks being arrested more than anyone else. The officer, James Crowley, refuses to apologize. This must indicate that he is a “racist,” the bushmen are thinking. But as this article states, Crowley can’t be considered a racist because he once put his lips on a black man to give CPR. In our upside-down world, the crimes and belligerence of Simian-Americans are far less important than the fear that a police officer somewhere might not like the people he arrests.
Gates can relate to these fellows, who are always getting into trouble:

Crowley has taught an important lesson to future James Watsons: When you tell the truth, don’t apologize. Consider the pressure Crowley has been under to do just that, from the black president, who has called him “stupid,” to the black governor and the Jew press. As Steve Sailer points out, while everyone is giving Crowley an anal exam to detect any traces of “racism,” Obama has exhibited unreasoned prejudice (not as minorities typically use the word to denote white cognizance of racial disparities or even exclusivity). “He had prejudged these specific events based on his deeply held views on the general racial situation in America.” Oh, but it gets worse, because while “racism” is not technically a crime, even the very accusation easily ruins reputations and careers. Sailer observes that while “the Establishment has ratcheted up Racism into the worst sin imaginable in the history of the world, it has not correspondingly ratcheted up the seriousness of the consequences of falsely accusing somebody of ‘racism.’” It’s amazing to see the scrutiny and pressure that Crowley is under to prove that he is not a racist while Gates is under no pressure whatsoever to abstain from bearing false witness. This is what happens when real sins are replaced by phony sins.
There is also a lot of talk in the news about racial profiling. But as James Edwards writes, when a black man shouts “racist!” at a white cop who is approaching him, what else is it but racial profiling?
This is one of Steve Sailer’s best posts, and that’s saying a lot for the man who has more top-notch posts than anyone else on Al Gore’s Intertubes. He has an impertinent question for feminists, and the truth of what he writes is not obscured by the fact that his words are not very flattering to the white cops of Brentwood, who are characterized as lapdogs who sniffed O.J. Simpson’s jockstrap every time that poor whore Nicole called for them to rescue her from the Kaffir she “married.” And the one cop who didn’t, Mark Fuhrman, was absolutely savaged in the press, and was the only person involved in that tragedy to be convicted of a felony. But if more cops had been like Fuhrman, Nicole would still be alive. “As feminist prosecutor Marcia Clark found out when she tried to pack the OJ jury with women and Johnnie Cochran tried to pack it with blacks, and they ended up in a compromise packing it with black women, race trumps sex in modern American identity politics.” Don’t try to write this well at home; you might hurt yourself. Don’t miss this very interesting comment by testing99. He notes that politics, like the rest of pop culture, is geared towards oblations to women. He says the BNP is trying to counter socialism with more socialism by promising white women that they can deliver a bigger share of the confiscated pie.

Prejudice vs. postjudice. The latter is what happens to people who have actually been in a pool as dozens of black kids jumped in.
In contrast to Obama’s uninformed and unreasoned prejudice, there are what Edmund Burke called wise prejudices, which are based on the collective “wisdom of the ages.” Of these prejudices, Burke said, “the longer they have lasted, and the more generally they have prevailed, the more we cherish them.” It’s not possible to entirely negate prejudice, leaving naught but naked reason to judge each man “by the content of his character,” as that Communist whoremonger said back in the sixties. Burke knew that prejudice gives motive and permanance to reason. “Prejudice is of ready application in the emergency; it previously [earlier] engages the mind in a steady course of wisdom and virtue, and does not leave the man hesitating in the moment of decision, sceptical, puzzled, and unresolved. Prejudice renders a man’s virtue his habit; and not a series of unconnected acts. Through just prejudice, his duty becomes part of his nature.” This is called conservatism, for those of you who have just tuned in, and not of the Sean Hannity variety. We simply are unable to judge every case on its merits and every man by his character. This is the fallacy of situational ethics, in which all is relative and nothing absolute. It would grind us into “the dust and powder of individuality,” writes Burke, stripping from us the the possibility of community, ordered liberty, and civilization itself, leading us into Hobbes’s war of all against all. “Nothing can be more absurd and dangerous,” writes Burke, in his Tract on the Popery Laws, “than to tamper with the natural foundations of society in hopes of keeping it up by certain contrivances.” Like the 14th Amendment, for example. Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and understand how your enemy seeks to destroy you. He does so by tampering with the natural foundations and removing the ancient landmarks.
“If you have no ‘prejudice’ in favour of truth telling, the consequences are inevitable. When, for example, you think you will cause yourself great trouble or short term harm by telling the truth, the chances are you will lie. If you have no ‘prejudice’ in favour of reserving sex for heterosexual monogamous marriage, the consequences are also inevitable. It will be more than likely that you will give in to your emotions and unrestrained sexual drives when by your ‘own evil desire’ (James 1:14) you are ‘dragged away and enticed.’” Obviously, the Bible is a book of wise prejudices. As Russell Kirk wrote in The Conservative Mind, discussing Burke’s wise prejudices, “The individual is foolish, but the species [race] is wise; prejudices and prescriptions and presumptions are the instruments which the wisdom of the species employs to safeguard man against his own passions and appetites.” In short, we take our marching orders from the Holy Word and hallowed traditions, not from Communists, and certainly not from race-mixing preachers of the 21st century who have utterly severed themselves from the wisdom of the ages, considering it a thing to be scorned.
Racial differences in Obama’s approval rating. Blacks are apparently not the least bit critical.
CNN finds Obama’s support among blacks in Iraq, simply because he is of their race, to be heartwarming. But whenever whites self-conciously support someone of their own race, it’s racist and Nazi and skinhead, and Where can I get a match to light this cross?

He is held to be guilty because he did not, when he was Christian, admit the colored races into a position of full equality with the white. But that would have been suicide for the white race as well as for the colored races. Should Satan be accorded a position above Christ? Where is mercy to be found, where is the light of Christ’s love to be seen if the heathens are allowed to extinguish the light of white Europe?”

A Sam Dickson speech is the kind of thing you want to print out and hang on the wall. As Sam says, we are parties of destiny, not just of heritage. We are descended from the founding stock of our country, but we are also the founding stock of future generations. It seems so obvious when stated in this way, but we easily forget.
It’s interesting that atheists deny religion just as neo-Christians deny race. Both are wrong. Do some reading on the history and traditions of the West and see if you can find a single case where a healthy society has lived without a strong allegiance to both.
We noted last time that Christians who are infatuated with propositions, such as propositional faith or a propositional nation, have fallen prone to the old heresy of gnosticism. Whenever you hear a race-mixing preacher elevate knowledge above duty, you’ll know what to call it, and you’ll know that such a man will have a thoroughly perverted understanding of authority. (Tim Harris has done excellent work on this subject.) But for anti-Kinist ideologies, dualism and asceticism are even more prevalent. By “asceticism,” I do not refer to fasting or training the body or even austerity. Low appetites must be controlled, as every parent knows. Rather, I refer to heretical asceticism born of gnosticism. I refer to the act of divinizing the spiritual and condemning the physical. A sensible mortification of the flesh has been replaced by a lunatic demonization of the flesh. People of this sort still tolerate the family bond because there is no way to avoid it, although young people appear to be succeeding. Even in churches, where the family bond is praised, no other covenantal bonds are tolerated except the bond of empire. The theme of one Lord, one faith, one baptism has been amended to one world, one race, one currency. The planet must be saved at all costs but the planet’s dominant race is expendable.
Heresies take deep root because they tend to resonate with human nature. Asceticism has a long history in the Church, largely due to Christ’s statement that His kingdom is not of this world. Again, this is a problem in understanding authority. He meant that His authority did not derive from the world. But His kingdom is most certainly established on earth, as it is in heaven. That which He has created on earth is good, including the races. But many Christians have chosen defeatism, as in the old Larry Norman song: “This world is not my home. I’m just passing through.” Max Weber gave names to these ascetic conditions: innerweltliche (inside the word) and ausserweltliche (outside the world). It is only human nature to think of a mendicant like Ghandi to be more enlightened and spiritual than all the other ordinary men who are working hard and fulfilling their duties to their wives and children, and who live by just weights and measures. But we agree with Wyndham Lewis: “I would rather have an ounce of human consciousness than a universe full of ‘abdominal’ afflatus and hot, unconscious, ’soulless’ mystical throbbing.”
The next time you hear a preacher take off on something like postmodernism, ask him if he really understands the breadth of it. Postmodernism is the deconstruction not only of orthodox religion but of white, Christian civilization. If Western traditional concepts of “truth, justice, rationality, normality, and even scientific and philosophical certainty are mere myths concocted and deployed for the purposes of buttressing the power of those who benefit from them,” then the vessels of the West, the people of the West, are not only expendable, but to destroy them is to serve mankind. Equality is human fungibility. This is where the lying hypocrite clergymen miss it every time. We are not products of an idea. We are living souls of flesh and blood, and our civilization will not survive us.
Doug Wilson writes that “a man who does not discipline his son hates his son (Prov. 13:24). This hatred is objective, measured by the results. It is not subjective, that is, it does not key off the emotional state of the father who is doing this awful thing to his son. He is probably a bleeding heart, not a ‘hater.’ But he still hates his son.” Likewise, race-mixers hate their own people. It matters not at all that they have no palpable animosity towards their people. Their hatred is objective. “They are false. They are wrong. They are hypocrites. And Christians who parrot their line are in rebellion against the very idea of stewardship.”
In this Gary DeMar show, a black woman is brought on to explain how to “dismantle black Christian racialism.” Except that she never does. She only laments that blacks vote like Marxists and view affirmative action as God-given justice. She defines racism as “negative opinions” based on race, and racialism as an “outlook based primarily on race.” She says most blacks are racialists, but she is no longer a racialist since becoming a Christian. I want to pound my head when listening to colorblind Christians discuss race. You can see that there is no significant difference in their definitions when it comes to decisions about how we live our lives. In other words, if you notice racial disparities in crime, form negative opinions of the criminals, and make rational, statistical decisions about where to live and work and go to church, it doesn’t matter if you’re called a racist or racialist; you’re still a hater. Then, if you seek to resolve the burgeoning problems through politics, you’re a Nazi, and more than likely a son of the devil himself. Blacks are able to live quite comfortably with racial solidarity, but to deracinated whites, the idea that race should have any effect whatsoever on the decisions we make is anathema. In Craig Bodeker’s documentary, A Conversation About Race, we see whites do penance for the “racism” of thinking that black people are loud. Thus we have Gary DeMar, who is perplexed that black Christians still think race is meaningful. But instead of exploring the issue, he dodges it by complaining about collectivism. Just once I would like to hear a Christian chatterbox or poobah come to the heart of the matter.

Consider that statement for a moment: a homogenized world of heterogenous peoples or a heterogenous world of homogenous peoples. Which of these do you think aligns with the biblical doctrine of the one and the many? Which aligns with the vision of heaven in the last chapter of the Bible? One of these concepts is trinitarian and one is unitarian. Christianity is trinitarian. All other religions are unitarian, and are therefore self-evidently false because they have nothing in common with how we are to live, and live more abundantly.
Tim Harris is back with another outstanding installment in his foray against the Balderdash of Ham. Once again we will summarize, but please read the whole article and absorb the brilliance like you’re some kinda Bounty paper towel. The universal moral repugnance against incest has no rational explanation; it is simply engraven on the conscience of man. This is why we all view Josef Fritzl as a demon who should be executed post-haste. But Ken Ham writes that incest is not foremost a violation of the moral law; rather, it is a contingency against genetic degeneration. But if prohibiting incest were only a genetic concern then marriage to one’s in-laws would be legal. This is like calling the prohibition of pork a contingency against swine-related diseases. Ham presumes to endorse miscegenation, contrary to what all of our Christian forefathers believed, even though he can’t distinguish between positive law and medical benefits.
“This is not your daddy’s Christian Coalition,” says Ralph Race-Mixing Reed. “It’s got to be more brown, more black, more female, and younger. Whatever the fate of Christian nations, the charity of the household of faith does not end with the Christendom – rather the mission begins with it. The Evangelium proceeds to all nations from the house of faith.
Europeans called to the great Commission have laboured and suffered martyrdom in every nation upon earth for the love of our Lord’s Gospel. The U.S. is now a mission land. It is a Dark Continent and is sunk in heathen excesses that would make darkest Africa blush (if that were possible). These are daily occurrences and published in all media.
As I see it, the Christian vocation in the Masonic republics is twofold. Catholics must work for the restoration of Catholic order (currently overthrown in the 1958 coup) – this includes the restoration of the Holy Father and the bishops consecrated for the Church in Eclipse by Pope Gregory XVII. The household of faith must regather on the basis of its faithful remnants – this will be congruent with the traditional European demographic which must be defended and restored to Christ. And the house of faith must Evangelize the nations represented upon the American land mass, just as they have traditionally Evangelized the world.
Those who think this is impossible should reread the early missionary journies of those who were sent to the Gauls, the Teutons, the Goths, the Bretons etc.

Fr. John, thanks for that link. I think there have been other cogent criticisms of the bill, but nothing so strident. The naivete of someone like Dr. Dobson is disappointing but not surprising: “Several weeks before hate bill passage, Dr. James Dobson wearily admonished Americans to stop fighting the hate bill and just pray, waiting for the pendulum to swing back to the right.” Rev. Pike uses the metaphor of a gate being padlocked behind us; I think that may be a bit overblown but Dobson’s “pendulum” is fantasy. We don’t have a pendulum, we have a ratchet. Robert Higgs’ ratchet metaphor works very well, I think. And it is actually scarier than the padlock metaphor because what used to be considered outrageous becomes the new “normal” and then they work on the next turn of the ratchet. This is just another way of describing the phenomenon that Dabney described in his rightly famous comments on “conservatives.” Funny thing is, the fact that this process can go on for so long may seem to vindicate the liberals who believe that reality is whatever we declare it to be: that we can define into existence whatever social order we want. The truth is, of course, that when we do such things we are creating idols for our own destruction. The fact that we are created as the imago dei means the attempted process of self-creation contrary to God’s word becomes a form of suicide.

Jurgen Moltmann and his feminist theologian wife Elisabeth are prime examples of what is taking place at the very core, the very foundation of the social order. What we are focusing on most of the time is mostly symptoms; but when you start looking at what is happening down deep in modern theology you start to get a better appreciation for underlying causes. There is definitely an intimate connection between all the unpleasant symptoms we are experiencing and the sick trends in modern theology, meaning our very understanding of the Godhead. It comes as no surprise of course that a particular view of God and a particular view of man go hand-in-hand.
Thinking about the Trinity is, in a certain sense, dangerous. You need the light of the sun to see, but staring at the sun can blind you. I think contemplating the Trinity is a lot like that. I readily confess that I am way outside my comfort zone and am keenly aware of the need to tread carefully. Letham himself warns at the outset of his book that contemplating the Trinity is like ascending a narrow ridge up to the peak of a mountain: it may be perfectly safe to walk if you stay centered in the narrow ridge but take one step to either side and you could be in for a nasty encounter with gravity. He points to the traditional errors that Eastern and Western Christianity have been prone to, and as he discusses the problems in various theologians it is interesting to see how easy it is to get confused and fall into contrary errors simultaneously. Letham, writing from a Reformed perspective, expresses appreciation for the East and seems to feel that lots of healthy dialogue between East and West can only be for the good. (I have only skimmed his chapters in this area, so I may have overlooked something.) My own gut sense is that there is only one way out of the mess that we are in, and that is to go FORWARD into a better, closer, truer relationship with God and a better, truer outward expression of the Christian faith than we have ever had anywhere in the world in history. In other words, the only way out of the mess we are in is greater maturity. This may not happen in our lifetimes, but it will happen because it has to, and when it does perhaps we will finally see a rapprochement between Eastern and Western Christianity, and a resurgence of the vitality that we need to successfully confront Islam and other challenges. Maranatha!

Of course, Christians always say that. I’m not really sure why, except maybe that it’s a comforting self-deception: “The easiest person to fool…is me.”
Granted, the quality of religious indoctrination, or theological instruction, if you prefer, is not what it once was and ignorance reigns supreme, but the salient point is that, were it otherwise, it wouldn’t make any difference, as all fundamentalist religions, including Christianity, are easily falsifiable because they’re based largely on brainwashing and wishful thinking that are at odds with the “facts on the ground” of archeology, history, etc.
But that brings up another issue- which “Christianity”? Who are the real Christians here? I’ve noticed that as more Catholics etc. appear on this site, a false projection grows increasingly stronger in its outline that Catholics and Protestants, particularly Reformed Protestants such as mainly frequent SWB, represent some kind of united front of “Christendom”, when in fact they are different religions i.e. though they both claim to worship “Jesus Christ”, share some identical doctrines and use similar language, they totally diverge in their views on essentials like justification, as is well known, and therefore can’t both be orthodox. This is either never pointed out or glossed over and is disingenuous at best. That is, if there even was such a thing as orthodoxy but, contrary to popular opinion, there never was from the beginning. Still, it’s apparently no longer fashionable to point out the incompatibility of the Reformed faith with Rome, though our ancestors on both sides had no problem acknowledging it, and slaughtering each other in the tens of thousands their infernal “religion”.
Fr. John, Rev. Manning I can take . . . all in all I would describe Rev. Manning as part of the solution, although he definitely has some theological wackiness. (Does he ever get around to teaching the Bible to his congregation?) This other guy gives me the creeps . . . let’s say he still needs to get to the next step where he is actually saying and doing something constructive, beyond just grousing about what’s wrong with black people.

Well, you had a promising start, then veered right off the rails. I agree that they all knew men aren’t resurrected from death. As for the assertion that the Lord/saints ever demonstrated such a power, there is no evidence. It’s been observed that a report of a miracle is not a miracle. You have never seen it happen with your eyes, you’re just taking it on faith because it’s what your church teaches. That’s fine for you, but it’s pretty outlandish to expect anyone else to believe it “just because”. Even if you had seen such a thing with your own two eyes, you couldn’t be sure you hadn’t been fooled. Most astute and worldly men than either you or I can and have been tricked by clever magicians. I maintain there is no physical resurrection. But there is gnosis, which is the real resurrection.

You misunderstood my meaning by the use of the word “pre-scientific”, of course. It was not at all what you were implying above. “Pre-scientific” doesn’t mean retarded or even completely unsophisticated, but I honestly don’t have the kind of time it would take to spoon-feed you on this point. As for the notion that I don’t have the foggiest about Christianity? You’re probably right. After all, I was only raised in and around the church and have spent my entire life immersed in Christian culture. I couldn’t possibly have any idea what I’m talking about. Because it doesn’t square with what you believe. Ipso facto. So, I’ll just leave it to the cherished public intellectuals like you.

I don’t misunderstand the term ‘pre-scientific’ at all. You are the one who misunderstands the term pre-scientific and (as usual) agrues the straw man.
Pre-scientific Europeans understood material cause / effect and much about the natural order. They had not developed a systematic understanding based upon empirical and deductive reasoning; they had not quantified that understanding. I am sure they understood force and its effects. In warfare they knew that a shield wall would not hold up against cavalry. To use my humble example they understood that if you rolled a boulder off a cliff – it dropped. They did not express that knowledge as F=MA. They did not utilize an abstract concept of force like gravity.
Come to think of it, Hohenzollern, you do look at the world through pope coloured glasses. Your pope or authority is your own reason exercised without awareness of the limitations of reason. You think that starting from reason you can draw a circle around all that is, explain it, quantify it and reduce it to what can be accounted for in a merely rational paradigm: mathematical, empirical, etc. And in your limitation you reduce this type of system to dogma as it is popularly understood.

The Christian faith does not despise reason. It recognizes faculties higher than reason – which without ceasing to be rational are not reductive and limited to the merely rational. There is a lot more to heaven and earth (and the new heaven and earth of new creation even now breaking into our space / time) than is dreamt of in your philosophy.

Yes, I have seen in concrete (also verifiable by others) in material terms – events that you would despise as superstition – if you were to merely hear an account of them. And I have seen much in concrete (also verifiable by others) in material terms) – events that as a witness, I frankly disbelieve as superstition or the deceits of Satan. My faith gives me a criteria for distinguishing.
But in the not too distant future, when you are able to observe events in our space / time that are concrete and verifiable, events that would seem to prove the authority of those who say they are the gods – you will have no such criteria, Hohenzollern. On the basis of mere reason (and I would say on the basis of your own very limited powers of reason) you will certainly believe these events and hail Lucifer.
