Signally and Splendidly European

Here’s a fun comment that was left over at Lee in the Mountains: “It’s Christmas morning and I was touched by hearing ‘Mary Did You Know’…and then shocked by being linked to a save-the-white-race message… Jesus taught us to love ALL people! And only love has a chance of saving this world…that is the real Christmas message.” What does love mean to the Alienist? It looks a lot like hate to us because it erases all distinctions. “Evil, be thou my good.” Being indifferent as to whether one’s own people survive or perish is anything but love. If I were to say that I don’t care whether my own children survive or perish, you would correctly call me a hateful father.

In this clip from the 2008 Together for the Gospel conference, a former Muslim named Thabiti Anyabwile talks about how he is trying to convince “the bruthas” (as phrased by moderator C.J. Mahaney) that race does not exist. It goes without saying that blacks do not believe this at all. Only emasculated whites believe that race does not exist. Therefore, Anyabwile is a black man who is clearly smarter than the white panelists, because he is capitalizing on a clever business opportunity in the white demographic.

Anyabwile’s game is to argue that race does not exist but ethnicities do. You will hear him say that “African-American” is an ethnicity. But he denies that ethnicity has any basis in nationality and citizenship. It’s the same liberal stance that the rest of the Church has adopted, which is that people groups coalesce from shared experience, but in the eschaton all colors will bleed into one. Therefore, the only “race” that matters is the collection of all Christians in the world, and the only identity of any significance is in Christ. “If you free yourself from race,” says Anyabwile, “you’re free to think of yourself as an individual.” Individuals are certainly easier to control, as every statist knows.

Tim Challies gives this review of an Anyabwile lecture: “Our entire outlook on life, he said, is so misplaced, so wrong-headed, so inadequate that we either need to change it now or commit ourselves to the closest mental health institution.” In other words, we are being asked by a revolutionary Negro to deny what the Bible commands and what our Christian forefathers believed, in the name of “love,” of course. Challies agrees that “believing in race is a bit like believing in unicorns, because race does not exist.” This is quite fascinating, because race is the subject that dominates public discussion more than any other by far, even in this age of excessive mixture. This is true even in places like Brazil that have been mixed for centuries. Challies equates the topic that is on everyone’s mind, and which consumes so much of our public resources, to a belief in unicorns. How can racism be a problem then? The hatred of something that doesn’t exist?

These men never seem to grasp the logic that if race is not real, neither is racism. Their position is akin to saying that marriage does not exist, but we have a problem with fornication. As David O has said, the very same people who are convinced that race is a Darwinian concept will do anything to deny that the war against so-called “racism” (meaning the war against the white race) is in fact cultural Marxism. Such double-mindedness and self-deception leads to the confusion of someone like Anyabwile, whose absurd argument is that race does not exist, or is at best a social construct, but ethnicities are real, because his black supporters will never accept the suggestion that they do not really belong to a distinct people.

At the conference, Albert Mohler says “the decoupling of race and ethnicity is extremely helpful.” He then turns to eschatology and surmises that the tribes, tongues, peoples, and nations are not according to blood but are rather “social,” “linguistic,” and “cultural” systems. Yet Mohler is forced to admit that “difference is good,” and that God delights in the differences in “all the ethnicities.” Then he reels it in, asking Anyabwile how the Judeochristian preacher is to reach those who believe that “they are who they are because of biology,” since “our eyes are organs of deception.” Anyabwile reiterates that the solution is to “remove race from your thinking” through “redefinition” and “questioning ourselves,” which affects our choice of friends, our choice of neighborhood, and most importantly, our choice of spouse. Then Mohler asked what was, for me, a laugh-out-loud question: “Anyone other than the Bible and you saying this?” It’s both hilarious and sad to watch the white men gush over how Anyabwile has re-engineered their thinking and led them back to Scripture, as though they had been orphaned in the darkness by their racist ancestors.

Anyabwile gives his effeminate admirers a brief Bible lesson, explaining that all are descended from Adam, and because of this, “we don’t peer back into Genesis 10 and develop some theory of changing pigmentation based upon curses or geography.” Instead, the Christian must believe that all races evolved immediately after the Flood, during a geological blink, a span of time that was no greater than a couple hundred years, of which the Bible says nothing. You’re just supposed to accept that their interpretation of Genesis and of history is the only possible interpretation.

You can guess Anyabwile’s explanation of Babel without even hearing it. He says that God deepened divisions among mankind because of sin. This is partly true, but it puts the cart in front of the horse. As you read last time in the quote from Vern Poythress, God protects us by separating us, because sin would multiply if we were allowed to be absolutely unified. Many small governments and nations are better than one global government and nation, because it forces us to mind our own business, which men are chronically unwilling to do. Yet the Alienist never acknowledges what Genesis 10 clearly states, that God began the process of separation and diversification prior to Babel. Genesis 11, therefore, is the story of rebels at Babel who refused to submit themselves to the Creation Mandate of Genesis 1:28, to fill and subdue the earth. Anyabwile is correct that “after Babel we’re yearning for something that only God can do through the gospel… The curse [of Babel] is reversed in that sense, but we didn’t do it. God did it.” We reply: If only God can unify men, and only through the gospel, stop placing heavy burdens on men, which they are unable to bear, telling them that their heritage is meaningless, that their people are not allowed to survive as distinct peoples, and that they are equal to and replaceable by all other human beings.

It is simply not accurate to assert, as Anyabwile does, that “alienation,” by which he means diversity, is “a product of the Fall.” It never fails to perplex us that Christians today are incapable of balancing the age-old ideas that 1) we can be unified in the Spirit but distinct in the flesh, and 2) God is pleased by this. They are so eager to divorce themselves from their own righteous ancestors that they divorce themselves from sanity as well. This is what leads to the confusion of affirming ethnicity but rejecting race.

At the conference, a story is told of a black man who was likely assuaged of his enmity with the white race when Mahaney prayed over his broken foot. Anyabwile then says that he was likewise impressed when, for the first time in his life, a white man held a door open for him and called him Sir. The theme is that whites are the oppressors and blacks are the oppressees, and it has taken the hundreds of years that we have been in close contact with each other (at least here in the South) for the oppressors to begin to cease their oppression, because it has taken them as long to finally obey what the Bible commands. Never is there a hint of suggestion from these men that blacks ought to feel shame, much less strive to compensate, their white hosts for the unspeakable crimes that their people have committed. There is only the double standard that whites must accept the falsehood that Southern slavery bore evil designs against the black race, and that all white men and women, whether descended from slaveowners or not, owe an eternal debt to blacks that will not be considered paid until the white race disappears through miscegenation. This is genocide, and the “pastors” in the room lavish Baba Booey with effusive praise for it, as though he is a prophet that has worked a miracle in their midst.

In this clip, Anyabwile has more to say about the “staggering magnitude of injustice against African-Americans in the name of the gospel.” He apparently denies that there has been a staggering magnitude of injustice against white people by “African-Americans.” He then says that love is antithetical to familiarity! In other words, the only way to demonstrate love is to treat every person as the equal of every other, which is truly anti-familial and truly hateful and truly satanic.

It’s amazing to see how these people twist 1 Peter 2. Let’s look at verse 19: “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God…” The Alienist completely ignores the qualification of the last five words, just as they love to quote the first part of Acts 17:26 but not the second part. They leap to the conclusion that if we are all Christians, we must therefore intermarry and combine into one nation, government, and people. It cannot be stated enough that this is completely at odds with what Christians have believed until recent times. It is not Christianity at all; it is unitarianism.

One last thing about Anyabwile. Coming in at #1 in his Top Ten Tips for Talking About Race: Don’t Talk About Race. I don’t care who you are, that’s just funny.

Speaking of comedy, Little Stevie Halbrook is back with another scholarly opus, and this one is rich. As you read here first, Halbrook has promoted the work of Rev. John Weaver, which presents a conflict of interest in his jihad against Kinism, because Weaver agrees with us about race, and with all honest Christians down through the ages. As we pointed out, Weaver has correctly taught that God created the races for His own glory and purposes, that interracial marriage is the sin of adultery, and that it leads to idolatry. Halbrook knew that he had to shift quickly into damage control mode, and he surely agonized over how he was going to justify his praise of Weaver while denouncing Weaver’s blatant Kinism. The results are quite entertaining, and even somewhat shocking.

He says it is “slander” to call Weaver, an “important and respectable theologian,” a Kinist.

Kinism is a heresy, and one of the most perverted theological systems ever developed in the name of Christianity.

Calling someone a kinist is like calling someone a murderer, or a rapist. Perhaps worse.

This is why it’s fun to read Little Stevie. He goes so over-the-top in the attempt to justify his own miscegenation that he embarrasses even those who are on his side. You might think that only heresies like Gnosticism or Arianism could win the title of “most perverted theological system ever developed in the name of Christianity,” but Kinism has vaulted over the top, like an Olympian on steroids. And being a Kinist is “perhaps” worse than being a murderer or rapist!

It gets better, if you can imagine, when Halbrook attempts to explain the qualifications for being a Kinist.

To be a kinist, one must…hold that God commands races to be segregated. As such kinists must oppose not only interracial marriage, but interracial nations, interracial friendships, and even interracial Christian fellowship.

If one does not hold to this foundational tenet of total racial segregation, one is not a kinist. To be a kinist one must oppose racial “mixing” of any kind.

And just like that – hey presto! – we are no longer Kinists. Not only are we in favor of interracial friendships, we actually do have friends of other races; and where race is concerned, they make a lot more sense than Halbrook. We have business associates and other acquaintances who disagree vehemently with our beliefs, and yet we remain friends, and productive friends at that. We also acknowledge that in times of adversity, such as when the Church was subjugated by Rome, or today when Americans are oppressed by an even more expansive, pagan empire, we must make the best of an inferior situation. There should most definitely be interracial fellowship, and in most cases it will look a lot like inter-ecclesial fellowship. No one is surprised that baptists and presbyterians do not worship together most of the time, because their beliefs would cause them to clash. Yet they can love and care for each other to the best of their mutual ability. This isn’t rocket science. We absolutely affirm “the Gospel’s power to transform interracial societies.” It’s true that Kinists would restrict citizenship, just as our own forefathers did. But citizenship is already restricted. You can fly to Ireland and the Irish will welcome you, but this doesn’t make you an Irish citizen. It also does not mean that the Irish have excluded you because they hate you. Rocket science, it’s not.

So much for Halbrook’s expertise on the “foundational tenets” of Kinism. He is wrong about almost everything he writes in this article, including the slander that we are guilty of “race worship.” And he’s still no better off regarding Weaver. He blindly asserts that “not all who oppose interracial marriage are kinists,” but not even we are Kinists according to the silly criteria that he has diagrammed. (And if we ain’t Kinists, honey, ain’t nobody Kinists.)

The comedy continues when Halbrook contacts Weaver for clarification. He does not ask Weaver, “Are you a Kinist?” for fear that Weaver will say Yes. Instead:

[H]e has told us that he does not oppose interracial Christian fellowship. Not only this, but despite his disagreement with interracial marriage, he has told us that he has preached in many churches with interracial couples.

Moreover, he said Christians in interracial marriages are welcome to join his church. Clearly then Weaver, unlike kinists, considers church unity much more important than race.

So what have we learned?

1. Just like other Kinists, John Weaver does not limit friendship and charity to those of his own race.
2. Just like other Kinists, he preaches the truth to anyone who will listen.
3. He allows couples who are in sinful unions to join his church, where they can hear about how they are adulterers and idolaters, with the ultimate goal being repentance.

I suppose if you huff sufficient quantities of Jenkem, this will convince you that John Weaver is not a Kinist. Where does this leave the dutiful theonomist? As a friend of ours writes, “According to Deut. 19:16-21, those who bear false witness should have the punishment rendered to them that would have been rendered to those falsely accused.” Since Halbrook has borne false witness against us by attributing to us beliefs that we do not hold, and has slandered us by saying that we are worse than murderers and rapists, what is to be his punishment? Will there be any at all?

Halbrook would have us believe that because the borders of kingdoms change and have changed, that this makes them arbitrary. However this is analogous to arguing that because a family might be poor today but wealthy tomorrow, this makes private property irrelevant.

It thrills our souls to see Kinism proliferating through such highly-skilled and highly-educated men and women.

Here’s another page from the same site in which Ehud makes the excellent point that that the Alienist interpretation of Galatians 3:28 is fatally flawed. If the “wall of separation” between “Jew and Greek” has been obliterated, why does Christ Himself say that there are other “sheep not of this fold” (John 10:16)? The Alienist will reply that Pentecost drew the Gentiles into the fold. And the Kinist will answer him that this was true in a spiritual sense only, because Galatians 3:28 also refers to males and females being unified. Even Alienists acknowledge that sexual distinctions remain in effect. Game, set, match.

As Scott Terry says, the “difference between the alienist and the kinist is the difference between the rapist and the honest couple enjoying their marriage bed. The one is at war with God-ordained order, and the other seeks to foster, promote and enjoy it.”

All the Alienists who have gone off on Kinists for the quote at kinism.net about “the confluence of pagan and Christian traditions” are now celebrating Christmas. Ah, sweet hypocrisy. While they may not celebrate Halloween, for a number of good reasons, they do piously observe the pagan ritual that follows a week or so later. As our friend Scott remarks: “It’s amazing to me that so many of the Christians around me refuse to celebrate Halloween (because of its distant ties with paganism) and yet become upset with me for not voting.”

We’re officially calling for an intervention on behalf of Crazy Uncle Honky, otherwise known as John Lofton, our favorite fundamentalist and biblicist. He has become so incoherent that even Lindsay Lohan wants him to get professional help. He’s a danger to himself and others. Here is a glimpse into the latest episode of Loftonian lunacy.

Jaime Castillo: “Anything done that is unwise is a sin. Especially if the person already knows it is unwise, and he still does it anyway.”

J-Lo: “Sez who? Sin is the violation of God’s Law. Which law of God does [black/white] Christian marriage violate? Be specific, pls.”

JC: “There are certain commandments that can be rightly inferred, without being specifically mentioned. Can you marry an infant? Obviously not. How about a two-year-old? Nope. A three-year-old? No. Enough already. What is the right age for marriage?”

J-Lo: “I do not know. Haven’t thought about age question. Would have to search Scripture on this…”

Amazing! Lofton’s extreme biblicism precludes him from denouncing child molestation because he can’t find a specific verse for it. Jaime had read Lofton’s badgering tactics long enough to know how to trap him. Jaime is a brilliant Kinist who is…gasp! not white! Don’t tell Halbrook or he might lay an egg.

Lofton is also unable to find a single verse that explicitly permits women at the communion table. He can’t find a specific verse that commands the baptizing of infants. Yet we join him in approbating these practices. As David O tells us, the Pharisees tried to pull a Lofton on Jesus in Matthew 19:1-9 when “they demanded an exact Bible verse that said that divorce was wrong. Christ rebuked them by making a very logical inference from the institution of marriage itself.” Marriage is relevant to the discussion of Kinism, because just as Adam said that Eve was “bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh” in Gen. 2:23, we find Scripture littered with references to a people being of the same flesh and bone. The idiom is always used to refer to close kin relations. Notice that Alienists are incapable of accepting the use of this term in Scripture because the only line in their script is that we all descended from Adam. Therefore, what the Bible actually teaches about kin relations is meaningless to them.

“And Laban said to him, ‘Surely you are my bone and my flesh’” (Gen. 29:14). Ken Ham was not present to correct Laban and inform him that even the Canaanites were of his bone and flesh. Silly Bible!

“Remember that I am your own flesh and bone” (Judges 9:2). Abimelech apparently did not understand that people are just people.

“Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and spoke, saying, ‘Indeed we are your bone and your flesh’” (2 Sam. 5:1 and 1 Chron. 11:1). What was this, the Third Reich?

According to what the Bible actually says, as opposed to the fantasy of Alienist equality, legitimate civil authority is based upon a credible claim of kinship with the governed (Deut. 17:15). The Bible never, ever considers the “one blood” theory of mankind as worthy of a moment’s consideration when it comes to tribal and national identity and governance. But Christians today, who are more unitarian than trinitarian, have stripped kinship of its biblical meaning. Since this has perverted their connections to their fellow man, it has perverted their understanding of God as well. This is why Kinists are called “heretics” for agreeing with their own Christian ancestors.

The same principle of kinship applies to marriage. Though Romans 7:3 forbids polyandry, there is not a verse to be found in the book that forbids polygyny. Nevertheless, we can infer from God’s arrangement for Adam and Eve that polygamy is not what He intends for marriage. Because Adam and Eve were of similar age, we can infer that it is inappropriate for an old man to marry a young girl, and it is not necessary to find within Scripture an explicit age boundary. Likewise, if we want to know how marriage to one’s own “flesh and bone” is determined, we must let Scripture interpret Scripture. Is your pastor willing to do this, or will he fish for an excuse to sinfully join what God has separated?

Peter Hammond is a longtime missionary and homeschooler who was born in South Africa and raised in Rhodesia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sudan has published an article stating that he “should expect to be bombed when he comes to Sudan… He should expect to be shot on sight.” This paper by Hammond on the Seventh Commandment contains this very good and very Kinist insight:

Considering how much the Scriptures teach concerning marriage, and the many passages forbidding cross cultural and inter racial marriages with unbelievers and being “unequally yoked“, it is extraordinary that there is so little preaching and teaching on this important matter.

Marriage not only involves two individuals, but two families. We need to honour our parents and seek the guidance of our church leaders when we consider marriage. Those who become “unequally yoked” are being short-sighted and selfish. They are neither considering their ancestors, nor their descendants. Nor are they placing God’s Word above their own emotions.

Of course, that’s just as much related to the Fifth Commandment. But here’s a curious thing. Another version of the same article has omitted the quote above.

Here’s a German man who castrated his teenage daughter’s 57-year-old consensual-rapist. Whatever you might think about this – and we’re not too upset about it – you can’t deny that the girl dishonored her father and sinned against God. But “Christians” today do try to deny it, if two people like this want to get married, because they take a libertarian rather than a covenantal view of marriage. And like Lofton, they deny that any age gap is too great unless a specific verse can be found that tells them so.

John Lofton and other biblicists are unwilling to accept that miscegenation is even so much as a bad idea unless they can find a specific verse that says race A is not to marry race B. Lofton’s mantra is “amazing grace, not amazing race.” As David O says, this is like suggesting “that being skilled at basketball has nothing to do with being tall or coordinated, but is only a matter of God’s grace.” It’s all of grace! It’s what the old “racist” Christians used to call providence. Yet as soon as we mention secondary causes to Alienists, we are accused of being “race worshipers.” Lofton also believes that domestic and civil governments are forbidden from forbidding what God’s law does not absolutely and categorically forbid. Try to wrap your head around that one. The upshot is that unless Lofton can find the exact words “Thou shalt not marry outside your own race” in the Bible, no one has the right to outlaw it. Jaime pinned him to the wall like a dried-out dung beetle because by the very same anti-logic, no one would be able to outlaw pedophilia or polygamy or a great many other things.

And lest you think that regulation and enforcement are different in the gelatinous mire of J-Lo’s brain:

As our readers are well aware, all states used to have laws that outlawed miscegenation. The marriage license was born as the means of conferring to interracial couples the “privilege” to marry, which had previously been forbidden. But if marriage is a privilege to be granted by the state, it is no longer a right. This is why you receive a birth certificate, not a birth license. (It’s not surprising that few people understand this. They also think that the Constitution grants rights, when in fact constitutions are enumerations of rights that already exist.) The state took upon itself the authority to redefine marriage, and it has never stopped redefining it. In surveys, vast numbers of people now believe that marriage has outlived its usefulness, and it all began with the state allowing the very same adultery that Lofton and his fellow Alienists believe is sanctioned by holy Scripture, even though it was never considered to be legitimate in the past. So when they complain about the state overstepping its bounds and regulating marriage, it’s a little too late – like when parachurch organizations suddenly get upset because they are called hate groups. (It was just fine with them when the “racists” and “anti-Semites” were the only haters in town.)

We hate to keep picking on Lofton, the fundamentalist-antinomian, but his mad ravings are evidence of the depths of absurdity into which a Christian will sink as soon as he scorns his kith and kin. Our friend Ehud is correct. Lofton’s “position is nothing less than a declaration of war on the family itself… The Mad Hatter wouldn’t even drink their tea for fear of contracting whatever sort of cytoplasmic parasite is eating holes through the Alienists’ brains… Kinism is proven true by impossibility of the contrary.”

Since Lofton communicates in rhyme, Mark Chambers wrote this brilliant poem for him, with a little help from Edgar Allen Poe:

This guy named Lofton caught my eye, I’m not exactly sure quite why,
Unless it was the lousy argument and his poor philosophy

And then as I continued reading, I could see this man was needing
Someone to show him how to read and think more logically,
And one more thing caught my attention, I’d be remiss if I did not mention,
That he simply would not answer a question, even when asked repeatedly
This guy refused to answer questions when asked repeatedly
Good Lord, I thought, how can this be?

But that’s not all, oh no, not quite, there is one other thing not right
About the way he interacts with the questions put to him, you see
He thinks it his prerogative, to ignore the interrogative
And seems unaware that answering is considered courtesy
He doesn’t care that answering is deemed a courtesy
He has one standard for himself, and another for you and me.

Ambivalent about the color of a face, he thinks there’s no such thing as race
No matter the texture of the hair or the shape of eyes through which we see
His eyes cross; he becomes frenetic if you tell him these things are genetic
That the races are a matter of chromosomes and genes and DNA
The deoxyribonucleic acid that we just call DNA
GIVE ME CHAPTER, BOOK, AND VERSE!! is all that he can say.

That God made races is ALL FICTION, it’s CRAZY, it’s a CONTRADICTION!
He made from one blood everyone including you and me
This stuff about Japheth, Shem and Ham is FOOLISHNESS, it’s all A SHAM
Even though its inferred everywhere and plain for all to see
Anyone can see it who has been given eyes to see,

One of the immense benefits conferred on us by Matthew Arnold lay in the fact that he recalled to us the vital fact that we are Europeans. He had a consciousness of Europe much fuller and firmer than that of any of the great men of his great epoch. For instance, he admired the Germans as Carlyle admired the Germans; …if he admired the Germans it was for being European, signally and splendidly European… Arnold did indeed wish, as every sane European wishes, that the nations that make up Europe should continue to be individual; that the contributions from the nations should be national. But he did wish that the contributions should be contributions, parts that is, of a common cause and unity, the cause and unity of European civilization. He desired that Germany should be great, so as to make Europe great…

The same could be said of races contributing to the betterment of mankind. Peter Jackson’s 2005 remake comes full circle by making the male lead a faggoty Jew “artist” who makes it clear that his “tough guy” image is merely an image. Masculinity itself had finally become unviable. This fits closely with race because it is the “Euro-American ideal of manhood that so incenses…the Left,” Kerwick writes.

We don’t know how many will find it of interest, but since William Pierce and Revilo Oliver are considered the holy men of the unholy white survival sect, here is a catalog of Oliver’s correspondence. If you scroll down to the “Warren” section, there are some dogmatic statements about how “everyone knows” that Mark and Paul were not actually two of the authors of the New Testament, because “everyone knows” that the New Testament was “compiled around the middle of the Fourth Century” from “stories that particularly appealed to their tastes and purposes.” Oliver authoritatively states that “we know absolutely nothing about what beliefs were prevalent among the various groups of Christians before 112,” and then proceeds to assert that “we” excludes “he.” He claims that “lying for the lord has always been a normal and habitual act of piety,” and then repeats lies about incest, cannibalism, nudism, sodomy, and “morbid aversion to women” among early Christians. Again, this is only of possible interest because “Vanguardists” are enraptured by Oliver, because he was very erudite and scholarly. Scratch beneath the cosmetic surface though, and you find that Oliver and Pierce did not really know Europa at all. A good acronym for their kind is DWEEB: Damned While Emphasizing Exceptional Biology.
